1. Candidate Profile
We would prefer someone with an engineering background (preferably a graduate in electrical or mechanical engineering). Ideally the candidate would be in his/her mid thirties.
2. Experience
We would prefer someone with some working experience in a large multinational so that they are familiar with the work pressures and controls. Someone who has had experience in Areva, Siemens, Alsthom etc etc would be fine. I would consider someone from a competitor in Indonesia if they had the right background.
3. Job Scope
The successful candidate would be expected to:
a. Work with the regional HV Business Mgr to develop a view of the market including project list, active routes to market, competitor activities.
b. Work with the regional HV Business Mgr to produce a sales forecast on a monthly and quarterly basis. This forecast will form the core measurement of performance.
c. Work with our agents, business partners and consultants to develop opportunities to achieve sales targets.
d. Develop and implement sales planning and management activities to use time effectively and target key customers and projects.
e. Take a responsibility for accounts receivable for HV customers.
f. Develop and implement promotional activities for raise the profile of Prysmian in the marketplace and leverage on our global capabilities.
g. Develop key relationships with key customers, consultants and end users to proactively develop opportunities.
